previous entry
there is still no snow. On the bright side it looks like I have managed to
find readable settings for the new TFT. XP looked ok after enabling
Cleartype however I had some problems on the Debian side. I have stepped
through dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config a dozen times
without much luck. Removing -dpi 100 from
/etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc to let the Xserver calculate the real resolution by
using info from DDC (i.e. 99 dpi) finally seems to have improved things.
